(Personally-owned company engaged in liquidations and consulting to financially troubled companies)
- Formulated a turn-around strategy for Sharp Distribution, Inc. Developed financial plans and projections, negotiated the agreement of the lead bank to proceed with the plan, and planned and negotiated the restructuring of $1 million of badly past-due supplier debt.
- Devised and implemented workout for Cable Link, Inc. after its credit lines with a major bank were canceled. Persuaded bank to restore and increase line; accelerated collections and liquidated excess inventory; dealt with vendors; recruited staff; put financial controls in place; won agreement of creditors to workout plan; paid off bank completely in four months; initiated successful local stock underwriting.
- Renegotiated and paid off $1 million of indebtedness at an average rate of 25 cents on the dollar for a financially-troubled real estate operator.
- Negotiated and oversaw completion of long-delayed computerization project, pinpointed causes of chronic financial losses, and recommended specific staffing changes for a large mental health provider.
- Purchased entire inventory, later auctioned at a substantial profit, of a gift and collectibles operation.
